So we are pleased to provide this update that following the surgery Ches is well and on his way home.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_11977\" style=\"width: 712px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11977\" class=\"size-large wp-image-11977\" src=\"https:\/\/media-doppleronline-ca.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com\/2016\/03\/chesbetty2_doppler-e1482642630721.jpg\" alt=\"Ches and Betty Fulton might be all smiles in the photo, but they are leaving with heavy hearts.\" width=\"702\" height=\"467\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-11977\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ches and Betty Fulton in their Huntsville home.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The photograph accompanying this story was taken by Ches\u2019 son Clyde and sent in an email to immediate family with the subject: Situation Normal.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"modern-quote full\"><p>Here he is reading the paper and doing the Sudoku puzzle this morning. He is fully engaged, clear headed and interested in everything going on. He has already had his morning stroll and has no interest in getting back into bed. He is now offering hospital staff suggestions on how to improve the efficiency of their operations. They may want to get rid of him even earlier than planned.  \ud83d\ude42 <cite>Email to family from Ches and Betty&#8217;s son Clyde Fulton<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>That sounds about right.<\/p>\n<p>Since leaving Huntsville, Betty says they have settled nicely into their new home. \u201cWe are extremely happy with our new living quarters; much as we hated leaving Huntsville, this is working out very well, and it is nice having family close at hand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s not to say Betty and Ches have left Huntsville behind.
