{"id":143268,"date":"2023-09-08T16:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-09-08T20:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/rwddev\/?p=143268"},"modified":"2023-09-08T17:40:48","modified_gmt":"2023-09-08T21:40:48","slug":"opp-investigating-serious-accident-on-hwy-60","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/opp-investigating-serious-accident-on-hwy-60\/","title":{"rendered":"OPP investigating serious accident on Hwy 60"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 60 in the Town of Huntsville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On September 6th, 2023, at approximately 6:00 pm, Huntsville OPP, Muskoka Paramedic Services, and Huntsville-Lake of Bays Fire Department, were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 60 in the area of Fairyview Drive. Two sport utility vehicles were involved in the collision. A 40-year-old male driver was transported to a Toronto area trauma center with life-threatening injuries. A 32-year-old female driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team are assisting with the investigation. The area has since been re-opened to traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to call Huntsville OPP at 1(888)310-1122 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. You can submit your information online at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.crimestopperssdm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.crimestopperssdm.com<\/a>&nbsp;if you have any information on this crime or any other crime.
