When the sand on the roads is finally gone, more enthusiasts will be spending their time out enjoying the season and what Muskoka has to offer. Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) would like to remind motorists and cyclists about the importance of sharing the road.<\/p>\n

Although Huntsville and other areas of Muskoka are host to many events over the summer that draw cyclists and runners to train in our beautiful communities, we must also be aware of the day-to-day lifestyle of our local residents. Motorists may often in their travels see high school or elementary school age kids out running as part of their phys-ed activities. On the weekend or after school, motorists may encounter families out for a bicycle ride, or just people using this as their means of transportation.<\/p>\n
