{"id":137109,"date":"2023-05-01T09:23:11","date_gmt":"2023-05-01T13:23:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/rwddev\/?p=137109"},"modified":"2023-05-01T09:41:35","modified_gmt":"2023-05-01T13:41:35","slug":"did-you-make-it-to-the-muskoka-maple-festival-on-saturday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/did-you-make-it-to-the-muskoka-maple-festival-on-saturday\/","title":{"rendered":"Did you make it to the Muskoka Maple Festival on Saturday?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By Danielle McPherson<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although it was a soggy and grey day, community members braved the intermittent rain and still managed to celebrate the long tradition of maple syrup at the Muskoka Maple Festival held in downtown Huntsville. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Festivalgoers enjoyed maple syrup-inspired goodies, and a day full of entertainment, which included&nbsp;fan favourites such as axe throwing, baby goats, and a mini putting station.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another crowd-pleaser was the Great Canadian Lumberjack Show\u202f&nbsp;with four lumberjacks competing against each other. The lumberjacks competed in events such as axe throwing, underhand chop, crosscut saw race, chainsaw race, and many more events.
