{"id":136184,"date":"2023-04-17T13:09:42","date_gmt":"2023-04-17T17:09:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/rwddev\/?p=136184"},"modified":"2023-04-17T13:09:43","modified_gmt":"2023-04-17T17:09:43","slug":"spin-the-lakes-for-mental-health-on-may-27","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/spin-the-lakes-for-mental-health-on-may-27\/","title":{"rendered":"Spin the Lakes for mental health on May 27"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Since 2005, cyclists have been hitting the open road in Muskoka and raising money for charity.<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On May 27, they\u2019ll be at it again as Spin the Lakes returns drawing hundreds of people to the area and raising money for local mental health initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event is a cycle around lakes in  Muskoka with distances of 175 km, 102km, 57 km, or 20 km. It begins and ends at Hidden Valley Resort in Huntsville. There will be water stations along the routes, swag bags, prizes and a buffet at Hidden Valley Resort with live music after the event.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the years, proceeds from the event have been donated to such worthy causes as Sears Cancer for Kids and active-living advocacy within the community.
