This Flood Warning will affect residents living adjacent to lakes and rivers within Huntsville. Property owners should be aware that conditions are changing rapidly, and they are advised to take precautions to protect their property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Updates as of April 14, 2023:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sandbags:&nbsp;The Town has set up a free sandbag filling station behind the Canada Summit Centre (20 Park Drive).<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Free sandbags and sand are available for filling<strong>,<\/strong>&nbsp;with a limited amount of pre-filled bags currently available. Please note free sandbags are&nbsp;only<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>available to those in low-lying areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information on how to fill sandbags and build a sandbag dike can be found at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.huntsville.ca\/en\/home-property-and-planning\/emergency-information.aspx\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Huntsville.ca<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The public is asked to please stay away from riverbanks and flowing water.
