Residents and businesses in low-lying areas and the downtown core are advised to monitor conditions and prepare accordingly over the next 24 to 48 hours.\u00a0 Visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ontario.ca\/page\/floods\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ontario.ca<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to learn more on what to do before, during, and after a flood including the creation of a 72-hour kit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Updates as of April 13, 2023:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fairy Lake is experiencing historic water level maximums<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is high potential for downtown flooding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mary Lake and the North Branch of the Muskoka River are not yet at water level maximums but will begin to experience rising water levels in the next few days<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Residents are advised to anticipate road closures and obey all posted signage.
