{"id":131816,"date":"2023-02-10T07:42:25","date_gmt":"2023-02-10T12:42:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/rwddev\/?p=131816"},"modified":"2023-02-10T07:44:36","modified_gmt":"2023-02-10T12:44:36","slug":"loaded-syringe-leads-to-more-drugs-in-huntsville-traffic-stop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/loaded-syringe-leads-to-more-drugs-in-huntsville-traffic-stop\/","title":{"rendered":"Loaded syringe leads to more drugs in Huntsville traffic stop"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting pulled over for impaired driving was just the beginning of a Bracebridge man\u2019s troubles in Huntsville, a court heard recently.<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Appearing in a Bracebridge courtroom, Scott Eaton, 53, pled guilty to possession of fentanyl and impaired driving by drugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Court heard that on May 16, 2021, police received a call for service regarding suspected drug activity on Susan Street in Huntsville. The Huntsville OPP arrived at roughly 9:40 pm and located a vehicle driving in the area with the lights off and pulled over the driver, Eaton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pat down revealed a knife, a loaded syringe, two pieces of tinfoil with fentanyl inside and a quantity of crack cocaine. Inside the vehicle, police found more crack and fentanyl, along with another loaded syringe.
