{"id":127587,"date":"2022-12-09T14:56:04","date_gmt":"2022-12-09T19:56:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/rwddev\/?p=127587"},"modified":"2022-12-09T14:56:05","modified_gmt":"2022-12-09T19:56:05","slug":"huntsville-attack-leaves-victim-nearly-blind","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/huntsville-attack-leaves-victim-nearly-blind\/","title":{"rendered":"Huntsville attack leaves victim nearly blind"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A man found himself under house arrest recently after admitting to a vicious beating in Huntsville that left the victim nearly blind.<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Appearing in Bracebridge court, Jason Campbell, 59, of Toronto pleaded guilty to assault causing bodily harm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Court heard that on Feb. 21, 2022, Campbell and another man who was known to him, became involved in an argument. At some point the augment spilled over and Campbell struck the victim in the face twice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The victim later attended Huntsville District Memorial Hospital regarding extensive loss of vision and the police were contacted.
