(Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seven, R.I.D.E lanes were set up by detachment members on area roadways the past week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Impaired Investigations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On August 03, 2022 at 12:07 a.m. members of the Huntsville Detachment responded to a single motor vehicle collision on highway 60 at its intersection with Szawloski Drive. The motor vehicle collied with a traffic light post causing damage to the traffic lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the police investigation into the circumstance of the collision, the following person has been charged:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tyler GODIN-BLAKE (28), of Huntsville, Ontario<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Operation of a motor vehicle while impaired contrary to section 320.14 (1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.<\/li><li>Failure to comply with demand contrary to section 320.15(1)of the Criminal Code of Canada.<\/li><li>Novice driver with a blood alcohol concentration above zero contrary to section 44.1(3) of the Highway Traffic Act.<\/li><li>Careless driving contrary to section 130 (1) of the Highway Traffic Act.<\/li><li>Drive motor vehicle with liquor readily available contrary to section 42 (1)(b) of the Liquor Licence Act.<\/li><li>Drive motor vehicle with handled communication device contrary to section 78.1(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear on September 27, 2022, in the Ontario Court of Justice, Muskoka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On August 06, 2022, a vehicle stop was conducted due to a traffic complaint on Beach Rd. in the town of Huntsville. As a result of the investigation, Alyssa MAJOR (31) of Huntsville was charged with the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in her blood contrary to section, 320.14 (1)(b) of the Criminal Code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear on September 27, 2022, in the Ontario Court of Justice, Muskoka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Domestic Violence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Detachment members investigated seven domestic disputes the past week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One accused has been charged with assault contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code. The accused is scheduled to appear on September 27, 2022, in the Ontario Court of Justice, Muskoka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Motor Vehicle Collisions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seven motor vehicle collisions were investigated the past week.
