{"id":115485,"date":"2022-06-29T11:15:31","date_gmt":"2022-06-29T15:15:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/huntsville.dopperonline.ca\/?p=115485"},"modified":"2022-06-29T11:58:37","modified_gmt":"2022-06-29T15:58:37","slug":"beloved-hockey-coach-dies-in-atv-accident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/beloved-hockey-coach-dies-in-atv-accident\/","title":{"rendered":"Beloved hockey coach dies in ATV accident"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of the Huntsville Girls Hockey Association (HGHA) are mourning.<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On Monday June 27, 2022 Ryan Solman, 40, a coach and hockey dad to three kids was involved in a fatal ATV accident in North Frontenac at approximately 2:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his memory, and in support of the family, all players are being asked to put their sticks out on their front porch for a week.\u201cRyan you will be missed and always in our hearts,\u201d states the HGHA Facebook site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRyan was very generous of his time to support youth sports. He was well-liked and had a very positive impact on many kids and families in Huntsville,\u201d stated Kerri Vallentin,&nbsp; HGHA executive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funeral Arrangements have begun, and the funeral will be held at the Faith Baptist Church on Saturday, July 2, 2022. Visitation will take place from 12-2 p.m. and the funeral will begin at 2 p.m. sharp.
