The public sector is required to report those numbers to the Ministry of Finance on March 31 of each year and those numbers are in turn posted on the Ministry\u2019s website. You can access the numbers as they become available, as well as previous years, by clicking on \u201cmunicipalities\u201d when visiting the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fin.gov.on.ca\/en\/publications\/salarydisclosure\/pssd\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ministry\u2019s site<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<h6>Disclosure practice is &#8216;ridiculous&#8217; &#8211; Councillor Brian Thompson<\/h6>\n<p>The practice was referred to as \u201cridiculous\u201d by Huntsville Councillor Brian Thompson who chaired the meeting in the mayor&#8217;s absence and said the Town of Bracebridge is catching up to Huntsville\u2019s numbers. \u201cSo hopefully they\u2019ll take the heat off,\u201d said Thompson arguing that the equivalent today to $100,000 in 1996, which is when the legislation was passed, would be about $150,000. \u201cAnyway we have to do it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014 the Town of Huntsville had eight employees on the list for a total payout of $911,053.54<\/p>\n<p>See the breakdown by clicking <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sunshineliststats.com\/Employer\/66199\/2014\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the numbers that will be published on the Ministry\u2019s website for 2015:<\/p>\n<p>Chief Administrative Officer<br \/>\nDenise Corry &#8211; Earnings: $140,938.17<br \/>\nTaxable benefit: $2652.78<br \/>\nSalary range: $136,186.00 to $150,323.00<\/p>\n<p>Chief Librarian<br \/>\nDeborah Duce \u2013 Earnings: $116,581.61<br \/>\nTaxable benefits: $252.72<br \/>\nSalary range: $106,541.81 to 118,379.79<\/p>\n<p>Manager of Finance\/Treasurer<br \/>\nJulia Finch \u2013 Earnings: $107,661.83<br \/>\nTaxable benefits: $252.72<br \/>\nSalary range: $103,636.12 to $115,151.24<\/p>\n<p>Executive Director of Development Services<br \/>\nMike Gooch \u2013 Earnings: $114,680.01<br \/>\nTaxable benefits: $11,083.98<strong>*<br \/>\n<\/strong>Salary range: $106,541.81 to $118,379.79<br \/>\n<strong>* <\/strong>This amount includes the vehicle taxable benefit as this position utilizes a town owned vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Director of Protective Services\/Fire Chief<br \/>\nStephen Hernen \u2013 Earnings: $120,278.74<br \/>\nTaxable benefits: $581.58<br \/>\nSalary range: $106,541.81 to $118,379.79<\/p>\n<p>Executive Director of Transportation Infrastructure<br \/>\nJason Krynicki \u2013 Earnings: $104,320.56<br \/>\nTaxable benefits: $231.66<br \/>\nSalary Range $106,541.81 to $118,379.79<\/p>\n<p>Executive Director of Community Services\/Economic Development<br \/>\nKarina Lambe &#8211; Earnings: $111,728.46<br \/>\nTaxable benefits: $492.72<br \/>\nSalary range: $106,541.81 to $118,379.79<\/p>\n<p>Director of Planning and Sustainability<br \/>\nChris Marshall \u2013 Earnings: $105,272.47<br \/>\nTaxable benefits $249.98<br \/>\nSalary range: $103,636.12 to $115,151.24<\/p>\n<p>Executive Director of Human Resources &amp; Corporate Information<br \/>\nLisa Smith \u2013 Earnings: $117,166.58<br \/>\nTaxable benefits: $252.72<br \/>\nSalary range $106,541.81 to $118,379.79<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45657\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Public sector salary disclosure, also known as the \u201cSunshine\u201d list, for 2015 was presented to Huntsville\u2019s General Committee on February 24.
