{"id":109007,"date":"2022-02-09T10:05:00","date_gmt":"2022-02-09T15:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/huntsville.dopperonline.ca\/?p=109007"},"modified":"2022-02-09T10:06:26","modified_gmt":"2022-02-09T15:06:26","slug":"renewal-date-for-expired-health-cards-extended-to-september-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/renewal-date-for-expired-health-cards-extended-to-september-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Renewal date for expired health cards extended to September 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ontario government is extending the requirement to renew health cards until September 30, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;In response to the pandemic our government extended the renewal requirements for Ontario health cards,&#8221; said Christine Elliott, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health. &#8220;While the majority of Ontarians have continued to renew their documents throughout the pandemic, we are committed to ensuring all Ontarians have the opportunity to renew while continuing to access the care they need, when they need it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ontarians will continue to be able to use their expired health card, including a red and white health card, to access insured health care services.
