{"id":107576,"date":"2022-01-06T10:30:09","date_gmt":"2022-01-06T15:30:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/huntsville.dopperonline.ca\/?p=107576"},"modified":"2022-01-06T10:30:10","modified_gmt":"2022-01-06T15:30:10","slug":"lake-of-bays-modifies-township-services-under-new-covid-restrictions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/lake-of-bays-modifies-township-services-under-new-covid-restrictions\/","title":{"rendered":"Lake of Bays modifies Township services under new COVID restrictions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the Province of Ontario\u2019s return to <a href=\"https:\/\/covid-19.ontario.ca\/public-health-measures\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Step Two of Ontario\u2019s Roadmap to Reopen<\/span><\/a> as announced on Monday, January 3, 2022, adjustments are required to Township public services.<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Township continues to encourage people to use online, phone, and curbside pick up options to access municipal services, to reduce in-person interactions as part of efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Effective January 5, 2022<\/strong>&nbsp;the following services will be modified&nbsp;<strong>until further notice<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lake of Bays Community Arena&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 Closed until further notice. Those impacted by cancellations and closures will be contacted with refunds or credits will be provided for advanced bookings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lake of Bays Community Centre (Baysville) and Dwight Community Centre<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Closed until further notice. Those impacted by cancellations and closures will be contacted with refunds or credits will be provided for advanced bookings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lake of Bays Public Library \u2013 both Baysville and Dwight branches&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 Open to the public for browsing with limited capacity and offering curbside assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Senior Centres<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Closed to the public until further noticed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Municipal Office&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 Continue to remain open for in-person services with limited capacity measures in place.
