A local business just got a little bit bigger in a lovely way. Massage Works, which opened for business in 2005, celebrated the launch of their new division, Spa Works, at a party on January 30.<\/p>\n
Owner Kristin Adams said it was time to take on a new challenge. With the addition of Spa Works, Massage Works clients can now get all of their pampering in one place. \u201cIt\u2019s a private setting where you can get a hot stone massage with a pedicure and hot towel wrap, for example,\u201d said Adams.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve only ever provided Registered Massage Therapy,\u201d she added, \u201cbut we got asked quite often for esthetic services. On November 1, we started offering reflexology, manicures, pedicures, and facials, and we now carry an all-natural product line, Naturopathica. I did a lot of research to find just the right product \u2013 if I wouldn\u2019t put it on my daughters, I wouldn\u2019t offer it to our clients.\u201d<\/p>\n
Attendees at the celebration were treated to decadent treats and equally decadent facials courtesy of new Spa Works esthetician Gwynneth Moore, who is excited to be working with Naturopathica, too. \u201cPeople are looking for products without chemicals and we can really customize this line to a client\u2019s skin type. It\u2019s a high quality product that\u2019s great for anyone but especially an aging population or to help repair sun damage.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\t\t
