Partner transfers to Spades or Hearts by bidding Two Hearts or Two Diamonds. You are very happy with his Transfer because you have a good hand and four-cards in support of partner\u2019s suit. You show this pleasure with a Super Accept. You jump to Three Spades or Three Hearts. If partner is strong enough, he then takes the contract further to game or slam. Otherwise partner leaves your bid of Three Spades or Three Hearts for a part-score contract.<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"E254\">Guideline One: Your opening must be the strong 1NT (15-17 points).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"E264\">Guideline Two: Partner must transfer to Spades or Hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"E271\">Guideline Three: To show your pleasure, you then Super Accept his bid with a one-step jump to Three Spades or Three Hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"E281\">For more information, Google \u201cSuper Accept\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"E284\">Next Week: Examples of when you and your partner might use Super Accept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"E290\">If you wish to promote an activity in your Bridge group or ask a Bridge question, send the information to <a is=\"qowt-hyperlink\" href=\"mailto:vrhead@sympatico.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vrhead23@<\/a>gmail.com and I will try to include it in this column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"E296\">Remember, as we all fight COVID-19 with social isolation, if you want your Bridge fix, online competition is available for all skill levels.
