Our video series, This is Huntsville, brings you the people and places of Huntsville, past and present.

This week, we asked some of the people who have joined the weekly climate strike in front of Huntsville’s Town Hall why they are participating.

The weekly strikes are organized by Climate Action Muskoka and are held in Huntsville, Bracebridge and Gravenhurst.

  1. It’ll all be ok Ray, as long as they don’t start blocking rail lines, highways and ports.

I just wonder what these people think we should do one say’s we have to stop burning fossil fuel but he doesn’t say just what he heats his home with or how he got into town if he lives outside of it someplace. Every one standing out in the cold has a coat or something maybe everything they are wearing that is made from oil. So if they really want to help stop running around out in the cold waiting for someone else to come up with a solution. Seems to me they just want to think they are doing something but are not doing anything.
