Pet-free Maple Cottage offers three bedrooms plus a den and two propane fireplaces and shows nicely. Fractional ownership means you buy one tenth ownership in Maple Cottage. This gives you exclusive use of Maple Cottage for five weeks of the year including the core summer week, which for this interval (Week1) in 2021 starts on June 27.

The other weeks in 2021 start on: April 4, May 16 and November 7. The weeks start and end on Sundays for Maple Cottage, which is in phase 1.

Weeks for the following year are chosen in September and the “pick order” rotates so if you were in first place this year, then next year you’d bein tenth place. Some owners rent their weeks to help cover annual maintenance fees, which for this unit at Maple Cottage are $5,808.75 including HST. Each interval pays the maintenance fee.

This is not a time share. You actually own one tenth of the cottage along with nine other owners. Each owner has five weeks to use the cottage each year and there are two weeks reserved for maintenance.

If you aren’t using your weeks you can add your weeks to the registry collection, which allows you to trade your week or weeks for many luxury locations around the world. The Landscapes offers a resort-style setting with a sandy beach, boating, salt water outdoor pool, skating rink, clubhouse, boathouse and more with lots of parking.

Viewings are on Sunday afternoons between 1 to 4 p.m. but you must be accompanied by a REALTOR®.

Listing price: $95,500
