This morning Kim O’Grady, Broker with Chestnut Park Real Estate advised on social media that the well-known Westside Fish and Chips restaurant, which has been serving the community for almost 40 years, is up for sale for $1.9 million.
Located at 126 Main Street West in Huntsville, the restaurant has been serving the community for almost 40 years. “…it’s time for the Sellers to let someone else take the reins,” reads O’Grady’s post. “Known locally as “the place for fish and chips”, generations of locals and summer visitors have enjoyed this local dining establishment. As the sign says “more than fish and chips” this restaurant menu offers a wide variety of offerings and is also VERY well known for their homemade pies.
“This unique offering will include a large lot, building(s), business located on Main Street West in Huntsville. Located within a few minutes of highway access and Historic Downtown Huntsville, this location is also a short walk to a public beach, boat launch and walking trail that leads you to the downtown core. Subject lot is .58 acres and is zoned MU1. Lots of room to expand on the existing business/building. Currently, the main building does have 1 existing commercial lease in place in the lower level. Year 1 of a 5-year term. A unique opportunity exists with a separate building now vacant for future income. This building would work for many different uses and also features a front patio/sitting area. The west end of Huntsville has seen numerous new buildings and businesses being constructed in the last few years. As Huntsville continues to grow, these large commercial lots/buildings are becoming hard to find,” adds the post.
The entire package is on the market for $1.9 million or $1.7 million for “building and land only,” reads the post.
