Members of the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for the public’s assistance in another break-and-enter investigation in at least five this month.
On June 29, 2024, between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., an unknown individual gained entry to a local business on King William Street in the Town of Huntsville. Once inside, the unknown individual removed cash and property valued at over $5000.
The suspect is described as wearing camo pants, white socks, red gloves, black running shoes, a black hoodie, a hat, and a face covering. The individual was also carrying a black backpack.
Between June 7/8, The OPP received calls for break-and-enters in Huntsville and Lake of Bays.
On June 13, 2024, a break-in was reported at a business on King William Street in Huntsville.
On June 26, 2024, a break-in was reported at a business on Howland Drive in Huntsville.

Perhaps the OPP should spend more time cruising the downtown. I was told by an officer that they spend more time on the hiway at night.

Karen i agree…i live dwntwn (main/centre) and there are SO many peopl doing burnouts, getting in fights, showing off their illegal upgrades on their giant trucks belching black smoke, causing troubl at ALL hours, its hard to sleep!
Iv called the police a few times to ask if they can just drive by every once in awhile but nothng ever changes, its a free for all up main street and arnd the circle k…really tired of it
