DESCRIPTION:Join us for a festive night of theatre and music at the Algonquin Theatre! \nFirst you will be entertained by a hilarious retelling of the classic Christmas Carol in rhyming couplets and colourful costumes\, alla Dr. Seuss. A Seussified Christmas Carol by Peter Bloedel is a one-act play running approximately 45 minutes. After a short intermission\, you will hear our talented vocal music students as they perform some musical theatre numbers and holiday selections. Then we invite some community singers and children to join us on the stage for a few numbers before the evening culminates in an audience participation sing-a-long of holiday favourites! Tickets are on sale now through the box office or Algonquin Theatre website. $15 for adults and $10 for youth. DESCRIPTION:The Muskoka Music Mix chorus is pleased to present their annual Christmas concert.  Wo offer a wide variety of song styles\, including carols and holiday favourites. Some will be serious but there will also be comedy numbers to lighten the mood!  There will be songs for adults and songs for kids\, including some audience sing-along numbers! \nIn addition to the Muskoka Music Mix chorus\, there will be quartet performances by Two Four Time and Makin’ Waves\, plus a new group: the Treble Makers.  Add another duet performance\, and some solo vocals by Frank Berg on piano.  and you truly have  a variety concert with something for everyone! To top it  off\, admission is by freewill donation! \nThe converts will be held at the at 3:00 PM. on Saturday\, December 6 at the United Church in Bracebridge\, and on Sunday\, December 7 in at Trinity United Church in Huntsville.
