As 2016 draws to a close, and I work on my goals and plans for the coming year, it is also a time for me to reflect on the year I’ve had, the people I’ve worked with and the properties I’ve had a hand in helping change hands. And what a year it has been in Muskoka real estate! Literally from early January through late fall, the market has been good and though there are always some challenging deals, it has been an interesting and rewarding year.

I have found myself involved with a truly varied group of buyers and sellers this year, as well as a wide variety of properties. From new builds to rustic cottages to full on luxury retreats, vacant land, to residential in town homes, it has been my pleasure to get out and see so many beautiful properties and to help my clients achieve their real estate goals.

I’m sharing a sampling here of some of the listings and sales I’ve been a part of over the past year and am proud to say that I represented many great clients this year and there are a lot of happy new cottage and home owners out there! And looking back at the year in pictures, there is a lot to be happy about. Muskoka abounds with diverse and interesting properties and dwellings, of all sizes and shapes, on water and off.

For me, two of the best parts of my day to day are having the privilege of seeing many of these properties first hand, and helping enable people to buy and sell them. Ever changing and constantly engaging, being a Realtor in Muskoka is a personally rewarding endeavour for me. Hard work translates into successes on many fronts, not least of which is hearing from clients who are thrilled with their piece of the Muskoka lifestyle.

Looking towards 2017, I look forward to increased inventory and working with as many wonderful clients as I was lucky to in 2016.
